NAOUSSA is a mountain town perched dramatically on the edge of a steep bluff, overlooking a swath of vineyards and fruit orchards below, with the beautiful Mt. Vermio rising up behind it. It's an hour's drive or train ride from the city of Thessaloniki in northern Greece, which has a busy international airport.
Naoussa is famous for its local wines and beautiful river, the Arapitsa, which runs through the center of town deep in a lush green gorge, with serene walkways on either side looking down at the rushing water and waterfalls.
Although there are signs of the ongoing economic crisis here (not nearly as much as in the big Greek cities) the atmosphere is busy and vibrant, with myriad small shops, great restaurants, cafes and bars. The people are warm, proud of their heritage, and full of humanity - and a majority speak English.

My daughter Peru, who lives in Naoussa, is also deep into the natural alignment and movement paradigm, and she completed her RES certification with Nutritious Movement™ this year, along with giving me my first granddaughter!
Peru and her oenologist husband Yiorgos own the organic vineyard where the workshop will be held, and are looking forward to sharing their local knowledge, so you'll be treated to the ins-and-outs of the best that Naoussa has to offer: the best food and music, the sweetest shopkeepers, plus a personal vineyard tour (along with wine-tasting, of course).
It's well worth spending an extra day or 2 to explore Naoussa and hike into the forest mountain trails, since the workshop hours are so intensive (8-5 on Saturday, and 8-4 on Sunday) that the weekend itself will go by in a flash.

A fun and intensive two full days of learning, refining and practicing all of the exercises and skills from the book “Move Your DNA.” These are "Restorative Exercises," designed to restore our alignment for optimal gait and natural human movement.
During the workshop you will also put your new understanding into practice: out, up, down and around the vineyards, trees, trails, roads, and parks in and around Naoussa.
